Analyze the recruiting process and gain techniques for hiring the right people the first time, including: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. October 8 – Compensation
Design a total compensation plan that aligns with your organization’s compensation philosophy, including: basic theory, job evaluation & analysis, and initial design & structure. October 22 – Employee Benefits
Determine the right mix of benefits for your company, including: mandatory and voluntary options, and overall administration. November 5 – Performance Management
Identify the components of a performance management system and effective performance-related discussions, including: basic structures, implementation, administration, and discipline.
About the Presenter
Jim Chamberlin, SPHR has over 40 years of HR experience in manufacturing, high tech, healthcare and public education both in union and non-union environments. He has extensive knowledge of State and Federal labor laws, compensation and benefits, and occupational health/safety. Jim has taught the SHRM Essentials of HR Management at NCHRA for the past 7 years.
Cancellations received less than
seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If
cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit
for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15
for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A
substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA
member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies
