Summary

Have you ever led a change process or tried to change something for yourself that didn’t go as well as you hoped? If so, you are not alone. In a recent study of patients whose doctors told them they would die if they didn’t change their diet, stop smoking and exercise, the results showed that only 1 out of 7 patients made the changes necessary to prolong their lives.

Uncover the truth about change and why it’s so difficult, and utilize a model to get to the heart of what is preventing success. More than technical skill-building for managing the steps of change, the Immunity to Change approach shatters the idea that transformation can be linear. Using partnering exercises and yourself as a guinea pig, you’ll learn how to proactively lead change efforts at a larger system level, such as with a leadership team, project team or organization.

Participants will learn what causes an immunity to change and learn steps they can take to break free from the pervasive cycle that holds them back. Participants will learn this by going through an exercise using themselves as an example. They will then see how this approach has possibilities for application at a larger system level, such as with a leadership team, project team or organization.
