8:30am – 9:30am: The Era of Choice - Are You "Selectable?"

David Baker, CEO, Think Shift
The Internet has made the world a smaller place. Customers can find, research, see real‐time feedback and compare the pricing and availability of hundreds of products – all in 15 minutes from the comfort of their home. Additionally, the workforce now values mobility above security. And that is the big shift – unparalleled choice. Explore this new landscape and discover what makes an employer or a product “selectable.” You’ll leave the session energized with a new way of thinking, and challenged to use corporate culture to drive competitive edge.

9:45am – 11:00am: The Power of Organizational Purpose
Louis Efron, former Head of Global Employee Engagement,Tesla Motors, and author of How to Find a Job, Career and Life You Love
Clarity of purpose differentiates highly successful organizations from all others. In fact, from 1996 to 2001, purpose-driven companies provided returns of 1646%, compared to 157% for the S&P 500. Purpose-driven companies like Tesla Motors both change the world and realize extraordinary profits at the same time. Louis Efron demonstrates how defining your organization’s purpose can benefit your bottom line.
