Summary

Whether your organization works internationally or only in California, you encounter global cultures on a daily basis both internally and externally. In this interactive workshop, you will learn the crucial competences for working effectively across global cultures, key steps to take to develop these skills in yourself, and how to develop them within others. Through experiential exercises, you will have the opportunity to assess your own readiness to work in a global environment.

 


About the Presenter

Daniel Guillory is a recognized expert on creativity & innovation, leadership and collaboration. Many different corporations and non-profits including Toyota Financial Services, Ronald McDonald House Foundation, Merck & Co, and Anheuser-Busch have turned to Daniel for his guidance on how to strategically approach these areas, and for assistance in implementing tactical solutions in learning and development. Prior to working with Innovations, Mr. Guillory was an attorney with Pillsbury Madison & Sutro LLP and remains a member of the California Bar. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. in international relations from Stanford University. In addition, Mr. Guillory studied international law at the Université de Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne. He is fluent in French and conversant in German and Spanish.


 

Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies apply for the HR West Conference and Certification Preparation Courses.
