We’ll take a deep dive into what coverage needs to be included, how to calculate the cost of coverage (including those pesky HRAs, HSAs and FSAs), dollar limits on coverage, and how the excise tax payment actually works.

About the Presenters
Amy Byrne is Vice President, Benefits at Vita Benefits Group. She is a seasoned benefits practice leader, with over 20 years of hands-on employee benefits experience. Amy assists clients in every facet of implementing an effective employee benefits plan, from marketing to ongoing communication, daily administration, and troubleshooting. She is an expert in crafting benefits packages that take into account desired corporate strategy regarding market competitiveness as well as financial goals. Amy graduated from Santa Clara University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and currently holds a CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) designation.
Anna Mendoza is Vice President of Vita Benefits Group, driving operational excellence within Vita and serving in an Account Executive capacity to some of Vita's key accounts. She has experience at all levels of the benefits consulting business, having started her career nearly a decade ago in an administrative support role, applying her extraordinary attention to detail and project management skills on all facets of the Employee Benefits process. That background and skillset has become invaluable as she now works closely with her team to partner with clients on plan marketing, strategy and selection, plan implementation and compliance, and ongoing plan administration and communication. Her expertise in Healthcare Reform, regulatory requirements and technology solutions allows her to apply a comprehensive and consultative approach that is deeply appreciated by her clients.
