Summary

What’s next for the Affordable Care Act? Answer: the Cadillac Tax. Beginning in 2018, the controversial Cadillac Tax imposes a 40% excise tax on high-cost or high-value health plans.

• Does your company offer a “high value” plan now?
• Will you be subject to the excise tax?
• What does all of this mean in terms of what you can offer and your benefit costs for 2018 and beyond?

Join us to learn all about the Cadillac Tax and its impact on your company's health benefits. We’ll take a deep dive into what coverage needs to be included, how to calculate the cost of coverage (including those pesky HRAs, HSAs and FSAs), dollar limits on coverage, and how the excise tax payment actually works.

Additionally, we’ll share various strategies employers are implementing NOW in anticipation of 2018 in order to maintain benchmark level plans (or above) to attract and retain top talent in the competitive San Francisco Bay Area.
