This practical program will focus on recent legal developments of interest to Human Resources professionals, including:

 

  • NLRB General Counsel guidance on the legality or illegality of common employee handbook provisions; 
  • OSHA’s Guide to Restroom Access for Transgender Workers; and
  • Recent court cases impacting employers including on disability accommodation and religious discrimination.

 

About the Presenter

 

Deanna Mouser has successfully represented employers and has presented practical and energetic workshops on employment matters since 1989.  Ms. Mouser has been an instructor of several HR courses through the University of California Santa Cruz Extension for over 25 years.  She received her J.D. Law Degree from the University of Michigan in 1988 and her Master of Laws (LL.M.)
