The IRS 20-Factor Test. The DOL’s revised compliance guidelines. The Uber lawsuit. Suffice it to say, there’s a lot going on with regards to worker classification in the freelance economy. And with a majority of businesses planning to increase their use of freelancers and independent contractors, no HR exec can tolerate a lack of transparency in this area.

More importantly, a lack of visibility in your freelance workforce can also lead to regulatory and compliance issues with the IRS, as we’ve seen over the last several months. To make sense of all the noise, we're turning to Work Market Co-Founder & President Jeff Wald, one of the country's leading experts on labor compliance in the on-demand economy.

Learning objectives:
How to ensure all of your contractors are properly classified
Why the cost of non-compliance can be staggering for some businesses
How new freelance management technology is helping HR execs mitigate their compliance risk
