SUMMARY
As millennials continue to enter the workplace, it is becoming increasingly important for companies to be "socially-minded" and offer an intrinsic value beyond just a job. Even though wellness and socially-minded companies are becoming increasingly popular amongst younger generations and many employers now offer wellness programs, very few are successful. This session will address employee engagement, wellness plan development, and how to incorporate it into company culture. You will be more prepared for:

1) Wellness plan design/development 
2) Wellness plan delivery/engagement 
3) Wellness as a part of company culture



ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Shannon Trevino, Benefits Consultant
As a consultant at Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, Shannon Trevino partners with clients to develop forward thinking benefit strategies that maximize employee value and engagement, while minimizing employer risk and overall cost.
With more than 10 years of experience leading teams on the carrier side of the benefits industry, Shannon helps Burnham implement large scale, sophisticated solutions that consolidate and simplify employee benefits. Clients who require well rounded benefit offerings have found her focused expertise in disability, funding arrangements, employee engagement and ancillary benefits to be a valuable resource.
 

Erin Brennan, Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant, Erin brings a solid background of technical benefits experience, client management skills, and enthusiasm for both the benefits industry and the teamwork that Burnham cultivates as part of its culture. Erin prides herself on her ability to partner with clients and carrier partners to identify issues and devise solutions that implement and assist with successful, long-term plans. 

Erin has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years and most recently worked for Woodruff Sawyer in the North Bay as a Vice President sharing dual client management and account team leadership responsibilities. She originally started her career as an Account Coordinator working on renewal marketing and claims issues for clients. Erin credits her focus on client satisfaction as being central to her success. Because of this, she was drawn to Burnham as a benefits-only firm that is large enough to have internal resources such as underwriting, communications, and compliance but also feels like a boutique agency that is truly service-driven.
