The recent wave of sexual-harassment allegations in Hollywood and elsewhere, and the resulting #MeToo movement, have catapulted this issue to the top of corporate agendas—and new research from HR org Next Concept Human Resource Association (NCHRA) and crowdsource-feedback firm Waggl reveals that preventing it will be a top C-suite priority in the coming year.
Their joint “Voice of the Workplace” pulse was sent to thousands of people from organizations of all sizes, using Waggl’s crowdsourced listening platform from December 5-12, 2017. Of the nearly one thousand people who participated, 89 percent agreed with the following statement: “I anticipate that preventing sexual harassment will become a greater concern of company leadership in 2018, given the recent wave of high-profile cases in the news.” (Read more...)
