Summary

Today's employees are looking for a different kind of experience at work — career development, new skills, involvement, a positive environment and good communication. How does today's manager meet these needs and get good results? In a word — coaching. Not a management buzzword or theory, the coach approach is the practical way to get the best performance and positive morale from everyone in your group. Whether you’re a manager looking for new ways to mentor and motivate people, or an HR leader looking to develop key constituents, you’ll take away:

  • Two sets of mentoring tools and how to apply them to your workplace
  • The true meaning of motivation and seven tips that work
  • 20 specific actions you can immediately apply to positively influence performance
