Summary

Central to our role as human resource professionals is the need to build workforce strength as a core means of creating and delivering value. This means understanding and addressing both system level workforce planning and development issues, and the career development needs of individuals.

Drawing on successful practices in organizations and the knowledge and learning of experienced practitioners, we'll explore how to integrate these aspects and examine both frameworks and practical approaches to create value through workforce and career development. Learn to:

  • Describe workforce strength and why it is important
  • Implement and integrate workforce and career development practices
  • Measure success
Speaker

Ron Elsdon, founder and President of Elsdon, Inc., specializes in the workforce and career development fields, providing organizational consulting, individual career counseling and coaching, public speaking, publishing and lecturing.
