For you to be successful in your HR role, you need the managers in your company to know how to partner with you and carry out HR policies with their employees. Whether they are seasoned managers or newly promoted, navigating through the rough waters of employment related matters can be difficult for them. This seminar will give you manager training strategies on how to conduct employee performance assessments and to develop management soft skills.
You will learn how to empower managers to integrate HR concepts into their roles, so that they can help you enforce policies, ensure compliance, and conduct constructive conversations and performance feedback.
You will leave equipped to train managers on:
> Understanding their responsibilities to integrate HR concepts into day-to-day employee management, and how the HR role has evolved.
> Knowing when to engage you (HR) in employee relations matters.
> Conducting effective and compliant employee performance assessments and ongoing employee coaching.
> Conducting effective and legally-compliant, constructive conversations with employees.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Megan Sediqui is the Corporate Human Resources Manager for Armanino Foods of Distinction, Inc., a specialty food manufacturing company located in Hayward, CA. She has close to two decades of experience working as an HR consultant, solo HR practitioner, and part of an HR team for organizations of various sizes.
She has worked in public, private and non-profit sectors. Megan graduated from California State University, East Bay where she received a B.S. in Business Administration with an Option in Human Resource Management and an MBA in Strategic Management. She has conducted trainings on various HR topics including Employee Team Building, Business Communication, and Compliance Training.
Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit.
