SUMMARY
Terminating an employee can be one of the most challenging parts of being an HR professional. Notably, there are numerous federal and state laws that must be observed throughout the termination process. During this webinar, together we will learn how to:

·         Develop and apply a clear and consistent termination policy.

·         Prepare for and conduct a termination meeting.

·         Prevent unlawful discrimination from occurring during the termination process.

·         Perform post-termination responsibilities, including COBRA administration.

There will be a short demo and the end of the presentation on how to utilize NCHRA’s member-only benefit tool HR360 on this topic. In HR360, members can find numerous resources to prepare them for the termination process. Learn how to access and use those, and feel confident in your HR processes.
