The Harvard Business Review has described design thinking as a concept that "empowers employees to observe behavior and draw conclusions about what people want and need." Cisco also has used design thinking to reshape the organization and to concentrate on the employee instead of processes, and launched a second breakathon in January to assess HR skills and capabilities and seek manager feedback.
Michael Arena, Chief Talent Officer at GM Corp., noted that "organizations that are adaptive know how to design for the flow of ideas, insights, and learnings into and across their organizations." We can apply this school of thought to our corporate or small company environments in order to provide motivation and a sense of belonging for employees.
Together, we will cover the new skills, tools and mindset that empower employees to feel included and relevant on an organization. Employees are a part of the solution on a journey to success. Their ideas are heard and taken into consideration in a co-creative process. This is the answer to the problem because employee retention and engagement are big challenges is organizations.
Join us if you want to bring forward-thinking methods to your organization that will allow significant results for their teams.
After participating, you will have:
1) An introduction to design thinking.
2) New skills, tools and mindsets for work.
3) A common goal and inclusion for teams and organizations.
