Learn research-backed methods to improve productivity at work as you join tech venturer and author Pierre Khawand in mindfulness programs, including practicing some mindfulness yourself! Gain a better understanding of mindfulness and how mindfulness at work can help you be calmer, feel less stressed, happier and more fulfilled than ever before! You’ll cover in-depth knowledge of The Perfect 15-Minute Day method and how to use the accompanying journal to practice the method and turn it into a habit. 

Discover techniques to focus and refocus, and when needed, to “multitask” and manage competing demands with ease. You’ll find a greater awareness of how you spend your time, how long tasks actually take, and what time wasters you can eliminate.

After participating, you will learn:
1. How a workplace mindfulness program can increase employee engagement and retention.
2. How to create and implement a workplace mindfulness program.
3. Techniques and methodologies employees can use to increase focus and productivity in the workplace.

Pierre Khawand comes from the software industry where he led several technology ventures and completed successful mergers and acquisitions. He founded People-OnTheGo in 2003. His focus is on productivity, leadership, and mindfulness at work. He is the author of several related books including the Accomplishing More With Less workbook, Time for Leadership, and The Perfect 15-Minute Day.

He is currently working with his team on a mindfulness at work app to make mindfulness more accessible to more people. When not tackling productivity issues, Pierre enjoys hikes with his wife and friends in the San Francisco area, as well as Tai Chi and Argentine Tango.

Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies apply for the HR West Conference and Certification Preparation Courses.
