Join us for a highly-interactive and class-focused seminar to learn how to help your organization ensure long-term success. You will have an opportunity to think strategically while acting operationally, in an integrated fashion. We will learn a four-stage strategic planning process and how to overcome obstacles to your development and implementation of your strategic plan.
Also included will be an informational packet of handouts to take with you and use. Presenter Beverly Dance will bring her extensive experience in HR management and independent consulting to the seminar and help you develop your HR strategy.
After participating, you will confidently be able to:
• Define strategic planning and the common components of a strategic plan.
• Learn and apply the key stages of the strategic-planning process to your HR function.
• Identify methods for involving stakeholders in strategy formulation and implementation.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Beverly N. Dance, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHRca, CCP, CEBS – Principal, Dance Associates
Beverly N. Dance is human resources professional with significant HR management and independent consulting experience. She is the founder and principal of Dance Associates, Human Resources Consulting. Beverly facilitates programs and prep courses for Next Concept HR Association where she is a Certified Facilitator and Certified Mentor. She has facilitated more than 100 certification classes and also presented at the HR West Conference three times.
Beverly joined the faculty of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) in 2007 and facilitates SHRM’s certification preparation and compensation classes. She has earned the CCP, Certified Compensation Professional, the CEBS, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, and most recently the SHRM California Micro-credential. Beverly’s background includes facilitation, compensation, executive coaching, anti-harassment training, employee handbooks, strategic management, job analysis and evaluations, job descriptions, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, performance management, benefits, employee relations, union interactions, workforce planning, plus training development and delivery.
Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies apply for the HR West Conference and Certification Preparation Courses.
