Decision-Making in the New World

Rapid decision-making is a fundamental requirement for organizational success in the 21st century, but still requires time-consuming consideration of as many factors and perspectives as possible. New technologies resolve this tension by facilitating rapid “crowd-sourcing” of constituent perspectives in a visual representation that optimizes HR decision-making. Gain hands-on experience with one such platform called Inqiri to experience the role it can play in hiring, employee surveys and systems evaluations.

What tools and technology should I be evaluating? How do we address the deficit of advanced skills required in HR and across the enterprise needed to perform data analysis and capitalize on its insights? Gain clarity on the role Big Data can and should play in the HR environment.

Developing the Mobile Training Room

Learning and development in modern companies is moving from a push (location-based classrooms) to a pull (self-paced mobile e-learning) medium. The key challenge, however, is to make sure that content is informative, relevant, entertaining and engaging. In this sense, the mobile training room must function much like a radio talk show. Participants will learn lessons from a broadcasting model that apply to the mobile-enabled learning environment.
