Agile is here to stay. The performance gains are undeniable. Yet this brings a significant shift in the expectations of how work gets done. Agile initiates a culture change in the engineering part of the organization, but the lack of integration of the rest of the company leads to new problems

We all know critical alignment is, now learn what agile is, and what this shift in values, priorities and processes means to you. Leave this seminar able to:

• Contrast traditional management with Agile approaches
• Write new job descriptions for the changed roles in an Agile organization
• Take a fresh look at how performance is managed and evaluated
• Change attitudes about transparency, information sharing, decision-making
• Prepare your organization for continuous improvement (change!)
• Recognize what training your people need to succeed

About the Presenter

Steve McGee is an Agile Change Management consultant bringing organizational agility to companies committed to developing enterprise-level change capability.  He both runs change projects with an Agile approach, and helps structure software companies to support Agile teams.

Steve spent 10 years as a leadership training and development professional followed by six years as a cross-cultural management coach in Japan - finding ways to integrate systems that were based on conflicting values. He introduced Agile to a software firm in 2007, and subsequently applied agile principles and practices to projects as diverse as changing accounting policy, events, and change management.

Currently he serves as the president of the Bay Area Organization Development Network, and is the principal of Steve McGee & Associates mcgeeacm.com
