Jennifer Benz is CEO and Founder of Benz Communications. She has been on the leading edge of employee benefits communication for 14 years — starting with early adopter consumer driven health plans and now with innovative wellness and social media strategies. Her work has been recognized by Business Insurance, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Profit Sharing Council of America, Employee Benefit News and others. Jen recently testified before the Department of Labor’s ERISA Advisory Council regarding retirement education, and was named one of Workforce Magazine’s “Game Changers.” Prior to starting Benz Communications, Jen spent seven years at Hewitt Associates, where she helped shape the firm’s approach to health care communication and had tremendous success with health care, recruiting and other strategic HR projects.

David Bernstein, Vice President - "Big Data for HR" division at eQuest
David Bernstein is the head of eQuest’s new Big Data for HR/Predictive Analytics Division, which empowers organizations to make better-informed decisions about recruiting and hiring strategies. He is responsible for developing consulting services and custom business solutions that leverage eQuest's Big Data. David’s focus is on critical insights for HR departments to drive talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies, which he has done for Fortune 500 companies. His background includes pioneering HR technology roles at PeopleSoft, start-up company leadership defining Internet-based HR solutions, and building HR technology platforms for global companies such as Solectron and Hitachi.


Andrea Bloom, Founder and CEO, ConnectWell
Andrea Bloom is the CEO and Founder of ConnectWell, a wellness consulting and programming company that collaborates with organizations to engage its population in sustainable wellness practices to contain healthcare costs, boost productivity and enhance overall well-being. ConnectWell’s clients range in size from small to large organizations and include companies building a wellness program from scratch and organizations with wellness programs already in place. Andrea’s focus on disease prevention stems from 20 years of healthcare experience working for Johnson & Johnson, Roche, medical device startups and health-related nonprofits. She has served in various product development, marketing, international, business development and consulting roles for medical device, drug delivery, pharma and lab equipment companies and on wellness, disease prevention and disease management programs.

Kathy Doan, Vice President, Analytics Manager, Wells Fargo Bank
Kathy Doan is a 13-year veteran with Wells Fargo. As an Analytics Manager, she provides thought leadership and insights to senior HR leaders to optimize Community Banking’s human capital base of over 100,000 team members. Ms. Doan leads a team of senior Analytics Consultants who consult with clients to link HR metrics with business performance using statistics-driven methods. She has presented at over a dozen conferences on the topic of HR Analytics. Ms. Doan has a B.A. in Mathematics, a B.S. in Statistics, and an M.S. in Financial Engineering.


Ryan Hammond, Head of People Analytics, hiQ Labs

Ryan is the Head of People Analytics at HiQ Labs where he leads customer engagement and aids in developing cutting edge HR analytics products. Previously he worked in HR analytics and compensation roles for Merck in the US and Europe and been a assistant professor of management at SKK Global School of Business in Seoul. He holds a PhD from the MIT Sloan School of Business and a MS and BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.




Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings and Webinars). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit.
