Michael Overell, CEO, Co-Founder, RecruitLoop 
Telecommuting and distributed working is a growing trend. Gallup says 37% percent of U.S. workers telecommuted in 2015, up from just 9% in 1995. However, most organizations have not adjusted their talent management practices to accommodate (or optimize) distributed teams. Rob Neale, Partner, Fisher & Phillips, has extensive experience advising companies and individuals on the complexities of business immigration law, including securing temporary work permits, submission of permanent residence applications, I-9 compliance, U.S.-Canada cross-border matters and consular processing. He has successfully implemented comprehensive proactive compliance programs in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Rob spent eight years as in-house counsel at Microsoft Corporation where he assisted employees, managers, business partners and other stakeholders with their immigration needs. He developed expertise in establishing, maintaining and improving corporate immigration policies and procedures.

Michael Overell is CEO and Co-founder of RecruitLoop, the marketplace for elastic recruiting with expert recruiters and sourcers on-demand. He previously worked with McKinsey, PwC and Ernst & Young, after graduating from University of Queensland (Australia) with B.Commerce (1st Hons) and B.Arts. His writing on talent management and modern work has been featured in Forbes and the Sydney Morning Herald. Michael relocated to the Bay Area from Sydney in 2013 to launch RecruitLoop in the US. He currently lives in Oakland with his wife (also in HR), young daughter, and dog Shasta.

Jon Randall, Director, Talent and Rewards, Willis Towers Watson, has over 30 years of consulting experience helping organizations across the globe address business priorities spanning strategy execution, revenue growth, productivity, employee capability and engagement. Jon is based in our San Francisco office. In 2011 he returned to the US after spending eight years in Asia, where he directed the firm’s Sales Effectiveness and Rewards Practice in Asia Pacific. Prior to that Jon served as Regional Practice Leader for Strategic Rewards and was based in Chicago. Jon received a B.A. degree (magna cum laude) in International Relations and German from Tufts University. He is a recipient of the B.E. Wyatt Award for excellence in client relationships. Jon is a frequent speaker on talent and rewards issues and has published on the topics of retention, performance measurement, sales compensation, governance and human capital risk management.

Tim Silvera, VP & Practice Leader, HUB International, is a total rewards expert with extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative total rewards practices that engage employees to drive business results and build high-performance, results-driven cultures. His expertise includes executive and broad-based compensation, variable pay design, performance management and sales compensation. Tim’s experience spans domestic as well as global compensation in the high-technology, real estate, manufacturing, energy, outsourcing and healthcare industries.

Greg Summers, Senior Vice President, Cielo, brings a background in strategic execution to the design and development of customized recruitment programs.  His experience applying Lean and Six Sigma processes to large-scale recruitment partnerships ensures HR teams get the efficiency and effectiveness expected from a strategic investment in solving their most troubling talent challenges. Greg is a skilled facilitator, and frequently brings groups of HR and Talent Acquisition leaders together for focused Think Tanks on timely talent acquisition related topics.

Robyn L Wheeler is a Senior Consultant in Towers Watson’s Talent and Rewards practice based out of Chicago, IL. As a member of the Integrated Solutions Team she applies her experience in both consulting and corporate environments to partner with clients to identify strategies for leveraging talent to achieve their business outcomes.  Robyn is an innovative leader with strong skills in organizational design & effectiveness, talent development, organizational culture, employee engagement and change management to support business transformation. She has a deep expertise in global organizations and leadership of complex, multi-workstream projects. Robyn has her Masters in Public & International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and her BA with a double major in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.  She serves on the board of the Arts & Business Council of Chicago.



Cancellations received less than seven calendar days from the program date are not refundable. If cancellation within seven days of the program is unavoidable, a credit for a future event will be granted, minus a $75 administration fee ($15 for regional meetings and Webinars). Credits must be used within one year of issue. A substitute attendee is allowed at the applicable NCHRA member/non-member rate in lieu of credit. Separate cancellation policies apply for the HR West Conference and Certification Preparation Courses.
