NCHRA Announces New Small HR Conference Advisory Council




Andrew Bartlow most recently served as the head of HR for what is now Invitation Homes, a publicly-traded (NYSE: INVH) technology-enabled real estate company. He led the organization through tremendous growth, while building the infrastructure to support a public offering and its subsequent operational stabilization. Through his career, Andrew has participated in over a dozen M&A transactions, IPOs, bankruptcies, and successful PE sponsor exits. He has advised scores of C-level executives, supported employee populations of 5,000+, built numerous HR functions, and learned from the best during his formative years at Pepsi and GE. Andrew is now Managing Partner of Series B Consulting (www.seriesBconsulting.com), and is co-authoring a book about people matters encountered when scaling a business.


Candice Morton is an experienced business development professional with broad market experience focused on resolution and collaboration. As a former business owner herself, she empathizes with entrepreneurs and helps them take their businesses to the next level.  As a District Manager with Insperity, Candace coaches a team of Business Performance advisors and with her service team provides a systematic way to improve employee productivity and engagement with a wide range of business performance solutions. Insperity’s mission is to help businesses succeed so communities prosper.  Candace is also a movie buff, screenwriter, hiker, reader and heavily involved in her community.


Julius Schillinger is Director, HR, for Gateway Learning Group, an SF based provider of therapy to children on the Autism spectrum. Previously, he was HR leader for Aurora Behavioral Health, a 14-Hospital system of psychiatric care facilities. For 10 years, he was Director HR and VP Account Management for Health Net and spent 7 years as VP Global HR for Cap Gemini EY’s Human Capital unit. Julius is a published writer-photographer, and led his alma mater, USC’s MBA advisory board. He teaches among the highest student rated courses at UC Santa Cruz. He frequently speaks at national and regional conferences on emerging HR trends and cloud-based workplace health & wellbeing programs.
