Greg Morton – NCHRA CEO
Greg Morton is a corporate strategy & growth development specialist and Chief Executive Officer of San Francisco based, Next Concept HR Association. With years of Fortune 500 and start-up experience within the Human-Capital-as-a-service space, he's been characterized as a visionary, strategist and marketing organization leader with a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in growth, operational performance and profitability.


David Ludlow– GBOD President

  • Global Vice President of Product Marketing, SAP
As Global Vice President of Product Marketing at SAP, David is focused on global human capital management (HCM) solutions for SAP and SuccessFactors. David is an expert on delivering business value through technology and innovation. David earned his Bachelor degree in Finance from California State University-Chico

Robert Fowles– GBOD President elect

  • CFO, Opus One Winery


Recognized as one of the top 15 CFOs in the Northern California Bay Area by the North Bay Business Journal, Robert Fowles joined Opus One Winery as Chief Financial Officer in July 2006. In his role at Opus One, he is responsible for the accounting, financial planning, treasury, risk management, human resources and information technology functions. Prior to joining Opus One, Mr. Fowles held positions as the CFO of several companies, including Spectrum Organic Products, Inc. and Diageo PLC’s Chateau & Estates Wine Division. Mr. Fowles is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.

Chris Hornick – GBOD Past President

  • President and CEO, HBSC Strategic Services
As President and CEO at HBSC Strategic Services, Chris brings a unique blend of business, technology and strategy expertise to every engagement and work in the Financial Services, Healthcare, Utilities and High-technology industries. Unlike other firms like Accenture, PWC and Booz Allen, HBSC provides services through small highly experienced teams that help clients expertly plan and execute strategic initiatives for sustainable competitive advantage. Chris earned an MBA and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a BA in Computer Science from Rutgers University.

Margaret Almeida

  • Principal, Almeida HR Consulting


Margaret Almeida, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a human resources leader with expertise in building and directing global Human Resources in start-up and high-growth technology organizations. Margaret partners with senior management to identify and address business needs through successful delivery of strategic and tactical HR initiatives. Margaret earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Santa Clara University.

Charles Ashworth

  • Chief People Officer, Coppper CRM, Inc.


Charles Ashworth is the Chief People Officer at Copper CRM, Inc., where he leads the global Human Resources organization. He has over 25 years of experience leading, growing and developing organizations large and small within the cloud and software industries. His experience includes prominent people-oriented companies like PeopleSoft, FinancialForce, and eBay. Charles brings thought provoking views in areas of driving innovative, high performance cultures designed to turn employees into ‘raving fans’. He is active in the transformation of the human resources role in business, publishing and speaking on the changing landscape of the profession.

Gina Charbonneau

  • Executive Vice President Human Resources, Francis Ford Coppola Companies


Gina is a senior executive with human resource leadership experience in the medical device, wine & pharmaceutical industry. Gina earned a Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Health/HR from Cal State University of Chico.

Brian Gilmore

  • Lead Benefits Counsel, VP


Brian is the Lead Benefits Counsel at ABD.  He assists clients on a wide variety of employee benefits compliance issues.  The primary areas of his practice are health and welfare plans and 401(k) plans.  Brian also presents regularly at trade events and in webinars on current hot topics in employee benefits law.  Prior to joining ABD, Brian was an attorney at Trucker Huss.  He also has experience at the DOL's Employee Benefits Security Administration as a Benefits Advisor.  Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Michael Ignaffo

  • VP of Human Resources, The Lagunitas Brewing Company

Michael Ignaffo heads up HR for The Lagunitas Brewing Company (founded 1993 in California), known for iconoclastic interpretations of traditional beer styles, and irreverent descriptive text & stories on its packaging. With nearly 20 years of professional experience, Mike has demonstrated capability in Engineering, Sales, Human Resources, Media, and Business Development in Automotive, Hi-Tech, and Film industries. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Michigan, and has worked for Ingersoll-Rand, Timken, Cisco, Apple, and GoPro, as well as a couple of smaller ventures. Mike enjoys tackling new problems head on, and revisiting standing solutions using a clean sheet approach and newly-surfaced tools.

Julie Knight-Ludvigson

  • Chief Marketing Officer, Topia 


Julie Knight-Ludvigson has led marketing for some of Silicon Valley’s top HCM-focused technology companies including SAP SuccessFactors, Reflektive and now Topia. She brings extensive experience in building, scaling and managing world-class marketing teams for start-up, midsize and enterprise organizations. Prior experience includes marketing leadership roles at Zendesk and Cisco Systems as well as running her own marketing consulting firm. Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ennie Lim

  • President Honeybee


Ennie is a social entrepreneur, and President of HoneyBee, a Certified B Corporation®. Ennie earned a Bachelors in Commerce (Marketing/Finance) from McGill University in Canada. Prior to entrepreneurship her background included Aon Consulting where she was a sales director and commercial real estate manager with Aldo Group.

Hubert Ma

  • Business Development & Marketing Director, and Co-Owner, Moraga Pediatric Dentistry


Hubert Ma has business development and marketing responsibilities for Moraga Pediatric Dentistry. He worked for Procter & Gamble (U.S. & UK), Clorox, and Clairol prior to opening the dental practice. Hubert earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Christine Tao

  • Co-Founder, Sounding Board


Christine co-founded Sounding Board, a platform that combines 1:1 coaching technology to provide customized leadership development to managers. Christine also led the global developer relations team at Tapjoy as part of the executive management team and oversaw business development, publisher sales, account management, operations with thousands of partners & developers worldwide. She has strong experience leading business development, sales & marketing in both large Fortune 500 companies as well as privately-held VC funded startups. Christine Tao received an MBA from Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business from the University of California, Berkeley.
