NCHRA Announces New Legal Conference Advisory Council
Jeffrey Curtiss, provides employment law related advice and counsel for executives and companies and litigates for employees.
Mr. Curtiss is licensed to practice law before all federal and state courts in the State of California. He was admitted to the California bar and graduated from UCLA Law School in 2005. Since 2008, he has worked for Stanzler Law Group (formerly Stanzler, Funderburk & Castellon LLP). Between 2014 and 2017 he served as General Counsel for Sofia University, providing advice and counsel on a range of issues, including employment matters.
Mr. Curtiss has successfully represented businesses and employees for well over a decade, obtaining favorable jury verdicts and settlements, often in the 7 figure range. In early 2018, he successfully represented a business in a breach of contract/employee raiding action, obtaining a jury verdict in excess of $1.4 million.
Douglas Farmer, is a shareholder in the San Francisco office of Ogletree Deakins, one of the nation’s largest management side employment law firms. He received his college and law degrees from Harvard. For more than 25 years he has been providing strategic advice on all aspects of employment law to human resources executives and business owners, many of whom are NCHRA members. He has been a frequent lecturer on legal developments at HR-West, and continues to be one of the conferences’ highest rated speakers.
