Uber fires 20 employees after investigation into complaints

Uber announced Tuesday it had taken action by firing 20 employees after a public relations firestorm over sexual harassment and discrimination allegations.
Sources told ABC7 the employees fired included senior executives who worked out of the ridesharing company's San Francisco offices. "It shows me that Uber is trying to make good on its promises from earlier in the year," CNET Reporter Dara Kerr said. (Read more...)

When you bring different ideas to the table, you're bound to see awesome things happen. The Northern California Human Resource Association and Waggl released a study on diversity in the workplace. They found that 96 percent of participants believed that cultivating diversity in the workplace was essential for driving innovation. In addition, a further 71 percent of all participants claimed that their organizations were committed to fostering diversity in the workplace.
